PATRICK PARKS, EdM
Patrick Parks is a leadership coach and brand strategist to Fortune 500 executives, professional athletes, and driven individuals across the globe. Before starting his own venture and working as Head of Brand Innovation for a public relations & marketing firm, he worked for a boutique global leadership development company based in London for several years. He has also worked for IBM Business Consulting Services as a strategy and change consultant. His first position and the foundation of his career began at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he was a leadership profiler and intelligence analyst. He holds a Master of Human Development & Psychology from Harvard University and a BA, Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame. Away from his coaching work, Patrick has hosted TV shows on the CW Network and LESEA Network (SLAMU) and also writes music and performs across the US.
MILO DODSON, PhD
Dr. Milo L. Dodson completed his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the UC Irvine Counseling Center. Because of his background and training, Dr. Dodson was appointed as the Counseling Center’s Sports Psychology liaison for the UCI Athletics Department, and is developing a specialization in Sports Psychology. Dr. Dodson graduated with honors in his Psychology major and Africana Studies minor from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Dodson is a committed advocate for service-based leadership, and serves as Camp Director for Common’s Dreamers and Believers Summer Youth Camp, as well as Think COMMON Entertainment’s Think COMMON Ambassadors Program for college students.
CHARLES THOMAS, Ed.D.
Dr. Charles Thomas Jr. brings a broad management consulting background to the MVP Group Program as well as deep experience across the public, private, and non- profit sectors. Dr. Thomas is the Vice Chairman of the Board for OAR Fairfax, Treasurer of the Board for Leadership Fairfax, and a member of the Leadership Committee for the Future Fund. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Behavior at the University of Maryland University College and Life Skills instructor within the penitentiary system. A former Division 1 student athlete, NAACP Senior of the Year, Knute Rockne Scholar Athlete of the Year, Arthur Ashe Scholar Athlete award winner, and Big East Academic All-Star Team member. Dr. Thomas received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame, Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas-San Antonio, and Master of Science and Doctoral degrees from Creighton University. In addition to his management consulting pursuits, Dr. Thomas is a published author, philanthropist, and mentor.
